Ghanaian comic star Comedian Waris, born Abdul Waris Umaru, has opened up to talk about his love life.
In a recent interview with YEN.com.gh, Comedian Waris revealed that he is in a relationship with a young lady.
However, the future of Waris and his girlfriend’s relationship looks bleak if nothing special happens.
This is because, according to Waris, hi girlfriend does not support his career as a comic actor (comedian).
Answering a question on dating in the interview with YEN.com.gh which happened to be a Twitter Q&A, Waris said:
“Yes I have a girlfriend but she is not supportive.”

Going further to answer a question as to why his girlfriend was not being supportive of his career, Waris was not but only expressed a thought.
For him, it was more likely that his girlfriend was not seeing any future in the comedy career he has taken up.
He insisted that despite the lack of support from his woman, they were still together.
“I don’t know maybe she doesn’t see her future in it now.. but we still together #YenWithComedianWaris,” his answer read.
