Black Motion released a statement in response to the rumors that they’ve parted ways.

On Friday night, different social media platforms quaked with a report that states that the musical duo (Bongani Mohosana “Murdah Bongz” and Thabo Mabogwane “Smol”) has gone their separate ways.

Fans were infuriated by the report and some persons went as far as criticizing DJ Zinhle who is in a relationship with Murdah; she was accused of making the two split.

In an official statement released on the Black Motion’s Instagram official page, it was said that the rumors were false and untrue, as they are still together and have more years together.

“Spirit Motion would like to state on record that Black Motion members … have not parted ways. Black Motion still exists and has plans for more years to come.”

However they made it known that there’s a change which will not be affecting the duo, as Murdah has rebranded himself from Murdah to Morda.

This is because he is preparing to launch his solo career as a DJ, but still remains part of the duo.

Smol is also venturing into other business aspect which will be announced once it’s established.

It was also revealed that the music duo are working on a new album.
