DJ Cleo promises to buy DJ Fresh a new car after reminiscing on how he broke into the music industry through the radio star’s help.
Cleo says 20 years ago, he got to work with Fresh and from there, he got more help through him. For that reason, he plans on making him receive his flowers before passing on.
“On this day 20yrs I was about to leave home to start work at YFM as technical producer & mix dj for @DJFreshSA (the night before was my 21st birthday bash) later that year he gave me official entry into the music industry. Imma buy u a car just to say I THANK YOU (kea leboga),” DJ Cleo tweeted.
DJ Fresh read the tweet and was in awe, he further mentioned his desired car.
“Geez Bro! It’s been a journey & a half. From your Street bash 21st Bday party, to licensing your music, giving u a radio gig, breaking ALL your first hits on YFM!!! I am eternally proud of you, and your every single move & milestone!!! Love you bro!! Ps vintage Chevy,” Fresh replied.
