Marlian Music has released a new single titled “Are You Sure” featuring Hot Boy, Lyta, the boss, Naira Marley, Mafias, Zinoleesky, and Emo Grae.
The “Time” Crooner kicks off 2021 with “Are You Sure,” a collaboration with Zinoleesky, Emo Grae, and Naira Marley. This song comes after his previous hit, “Everybody,” which was released in late 2020.
L-Y-T-A (Lawal Opeyemi Raimi) is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who goes by the stage name L-Y-T-A. In 2018, he signed a record contract with YBNL Country, but he left in May 2019. Lyta left YBNL Nation in 2019, signed a distribution contract with Doro Musik Gang, and on July 12, 2019, released the Killer Tunes-produced hit track “Monalisa.”
Lyta was contacted by Davido about a potential remake of the hit single. Following their agreement, Davido flew Lyta to Dakar for the remix and video shoot of “Monalisa,” which was later released in August 2019.
Director K directed the accompanying music video for the remix, which went deeper than the original album and gave Lyta more exposure. He released the Afrobeat track “Worry” later that year, which was also recorded by Killertunes.
L Y T A went silent in 2020, and we didn’t hear from him again until May, when he launched the tracks “Ramadan” and “Birthday Wish.” He revealed himself as a member of the Marlian Music Family later that year, and released the songs “Hold Me Down” and “Everybody.”
Are You Sure?, a new 2021 album, is said to be part of Lyta’s upcoming music project, Hennessy. ED Tripps’ production… Listen to it and enjoy it!
