Award-winning musician, Samthing Soweto is excited with his latest album, Isiphithiphithi certified platinum in 2 months.

The star took to social media to appreciate fans for the support given.

Speaking of the new achievement to DRUM, he said:

“I really wanted this to happen, it is exactly what I needed and as for the mural on Fox Street – it is amazing. Thank you Platoon South Africa for commissioning it.”

When asked why he chose to go for the Amapiano feel with his recent record, he told DRUM that he has always wanted his music to be played in places where people gather and often the soundtrack of those places is the “yano’s.”
