For the release of Sungba Remix, YBNL’s new buzzing artist Asake links up with Grammy Award winning musician Burna Boy. This Remix, which was also made by Magicsticks, is set to take over!
The newcomer blends Yoruba gospel and fuji influences over bouncy beats throughout his debut EP, the eponymous Ololade Asake, to dwell on his unfolding path and exhibit heavenly adoration no surprises there, for an act with a name steeped in oriki (Yoruba praise poetry). Because Afrobeats is spiritual by nature, and the YBNL label is one of its most revered cathedrals.
