The official music video for Zlatan and Davido’s jam MONEY has been released by Zanku Records and DMW. The song is from Zlatan’s second studio album, RESAN, and was produced by Spellz.
The multi-talented Zlatan Ibile explores many topics over amapiano, drill, and highlife-infused instrumentation in his sophomore album, which takes stock of his ongoing evolution as an artist. Resan is a Swedish term that translates to “journey.” “I named it that because there’s something unique about my journey from being a local artist to being a worldwide recognized figure. I want everyone to realize how far my music career has progressed.”
About the track 8, Money featuring Davido, Zlatan said “Davido is my brother and my main man. We have this chemistry that goes beyond us being colleagues; we’re quite cool friends. I didn’t wanna disappoint those who love hearing me and Davido together. So, this one is talking about me not wanting to look like I have money when I don’t, ’cause if you don’t have money, they’ll steal your wife!”
