A LOT HAVE CHANGED ME
I have not changed alot, alot have changed me
I have watched people I stood for
Stand up against me
I have sacrificed every piece of me
To be broken into pieces
So when you think of the nice guy I used to be
And the different person I have become
Do not say I have changed alot
For alot have actually changed me
Once I turned off my candle to let another’s shine
And was left alone in the dark
Too many to mention
Too many times I have been betrayed
And my efforts taken for granted

I used to be that hungry bird that sings
To entertain those who should feed me
But I have turned into an eagle
To devour for survival
Yes, I have walked through the tunnel
I have seen Alot
And they have really changed me
Like demons they overpowered my innocence
And possessed me with bitterness
So sad, I’m glad my circle of friends is family
And two I can never stop to appriciate
If I no longer call or text back like I used to do
I am simply not too busy to attend to you
I just don’t like you anymore
Please find a place in your heart to let it sink
Don’t call me rude for I was good
Fighting to win all my wars myself
Since I became the hunted by my fellow army
Yes, these are just a few of alot that have changed me.
