I give you a thousand flowers in poetry
Because it’s everlasting unlike roses
I smile at the moon, she sends you my smile
For I’m still away by miles
Oh! My darling Brita in everything I do
I will always keep you closer
I light seven candles to pray for us
For that’s how best to light our dreams
Someday I hope to see you again
And kiss you warmly under the rain
But till then_ in everything I do_
I will always keep you close to me
Just yesterday I said I love you
Today I am so mad about you
I scream your name when I am in danger
Because I believe in you my goddesses
Hear me for if all oceans and springs combine
It still can’t wash away my feelings for you
Set me ablaze but while I burn down to dust
I will still find a way to guard this very heart
For it is where you are and nothing can harm’
I love you not with wisdom but with foolishness
For everyone truly in love is a fool like me
Last night I found you running in my head
So fast you’ve taken over all chambers of my mind
I will run the globe to be with you
Drink a river of morning dew for you
Oh my sweetheart
I will never let a thing break us apart
So in everything I do
I will always keep you close to my heart
