For Family – Membis Okorie Chukwukamma
When my daughter will call me Daddy
Smiles would be all over my face
And tears mixed with so much joy
arling, all I see is a happy family
Hope she takes all of your beauty
But my eyes cause they are lovely
When my daughter will call me Daddy
I will hug and kiss her forehead
Let her hold my hands while we ride
Down, down down down down down down!
Up to the hill when the sun goes down
Down, down down down down down down!
Down the shore where two oceans splash
Thoughts of her keeps me dancing
Fighting to keep her always rejoicing
On her bed full of pretty red roses
When my daughter says her first world
I hope she wouldn’t say mummy
I would be so jealous_ just saying
Like the stars she will brighten my world
Her name every word I boldly utter
Cause I would be so much a proud father
Darling surely we will ride it
Go to different places cause I’m a tourist
Waterfalls and all seven wonders
With our daughter before we make another.
