Joeboy chose to make a comeback to the music arena with this low-tempo track titled Cubana, following the great success of his 2021 smash song, Alcohol. The Nigerian singer and composer has finally given us something outside of his comfort zone, and we’re delighted he’s beginning to explore his creative side.
Joeboy Cubana is a song in which Joeboy tells his woman that he is more than enough for her and vows to treat her well in bed, despite the fact that his pockets are also full. The moniker “Cubana” refers to one of Nigeria’s most prestigious nightclubs, which caters to the country’s upper crust. Anyone who hears the word “Cubana” knows it has to do with money.
