Justin Bieber returns with his sixth studio album, Changes, just a year after the release of Changes. The 16-track album features contributions from a large community of collaborators, including Khalid (“As I Am”), Burna Boy (“Loved By You”), The Kid LAROI (“Unstable”), and Dominic Fike (“Die for You”), in addition to the Chance the Rapper-assisted single “Holy.”
Bieber is joined by Daniel Caesar and GIVEN on the highlight “Peaches,” on which he has released a video directed by Colin Tilley. He performed a stripped-down version of the song for NPR’s Tiny Desk (Home) Concert earlier this week.
Justice has also spawned songs like “Lonely” featuring Benny Blanco, “Anyone,” and “Hold Tight,” which Chance the Rapper likened to Michael Jackson’s Off the Wall.
The 27-year-old singer wants to bring healing to the world with this song. “In a time when there’s so much wrong with this broken world, we all crave healing-and-justice for humanity,” said Bieber, who recently won his second Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Dan + Shay for “10,000 Hours.” “My aim in making this album is to create music that will bring comfort to people; to write songs that will make people feel good.
“My aim in making this album is to create music that can bring joy to people; songs that they will relate to and attach to, so they don’t feel so lonely. People will feel powerless in the face of misery, oppression, and pain.”
