House I use to know
Since forever ago
With so much wealth
Still, we die from bad health
No food nor agriculture
Lost the originality of our culture
On the streets, dwells poor readers
No such thing as future leaders
Everything is politicized
Even out rights are monetized

Over the years we’ve lost our values
The right things have become taboo
Stealing from the poor is glorified
Confessors of the truth are crucified
Citizens lacking representatives
Laws lacking some equalities
A home ruined by the government
Looting is now a public announcement
This is a gerontic democracy
Only that the old blaspheme democracy

Moving from pain to tribulation
Maltreatment to segregation
No benefit serving the nation
Making our anthem an abomination
No clothes to cover our nakedness
Or morals to reduce the violence
A land with no rules
Rulers with no views
Constant constitutional amendments
Nothing ever changes, no evidence

Evolutional stagnation,
Unaddressed unions agitation
Their lips said it’s what you know
Their actions said it’s who you know
Corruption is now a political disease
Unemployment, sealed on our degrees
We are like refugees
Hopes and patient are our agonies
A Nation that was once a home
But now, it’s merely a house
