THE LITTLE BIRD BY KENNETH OODEE
I sat beside the river
Playing with the sand and water
Smiling to the trees
Carried away with thought by the breeze
On a tree dwells a little bird
My praises to nature she heard
BIRD: what brought you here?
ME: needed a moment alone
BIRD: you seem so happy too
ME: of cause I’m happy
BIRD: why are you happy if I may ask?
ME: it intrigues me how the breeze takes the trees and the waves on the rivers on a date.
BIRD: what else?
ME: and how beautiful nature, you and other birds look
BIRD: wow!!!, if we that are mere birds are this beautiful, you that is a god, what are you???
