LIKE A THIEF IN THE NIGHT
You and yours came for me and mine,
Rode my heart a mile like a canoe in the mid of Nile.
Like a whirlwind of high and might,
You stole me away like a thief in the night.
He completes my world,
In nothingness he gives me strength,
This boy is a real charm,
For my life he has stolen.
In love, I was dumbfounded perhaps found dumb,
For speechless is how I feel when my oral cavity loses form,
In this alphabet of love, it’s just you and I,
Your love a do or die, it’s either I do or I die.
In dreams I guess unto nothingness,
Hoping my love will remain with me forever,
I don’t want his love to be meaningless,
For he is the man I chose forever.
You’re a man every generation will wish to have,
A woman of humanity, the other me, my half,
We found love at spotlight,
God bless the day you stole my heart away like a thief in the night.
