Lakers, Warriors, 76ers, Heat, Hawks, Pelicans, Bulls, and Kings to participate in the NBA Play-In Tournament.
With the official conclusion of the 2023–24 NBA regular season, the NBA In-Season Tournament teams have been determined.
The Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat will square off for the seventh and eighth seeds in the Eastern Conference, respectively, while the Chicago Bulls will host the Atlanta Hawks in the opening game.
In the meanwhile, the first 8th-seed clash in the Western Conference will see the Sacramento Kings meet the Golden State Warriors, while the No. 7 seed New Orleans Pelicans will play the Los Angeles Lakers.
The teams who place seventh through tenth in the standings will compete for the seventh and eighth playoff seeding in the Play-In Tournament, while the teams that place 1-6 in each conference’s standings are assured a position in the postseason.
Tuesday, April 16 to Friday, April 19, is when the Play-In Tournament will take place before the NBA playoffs begin on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
